My lord, Jane actually beat Trudy for fugliest thing you could possibly wear on your head.

Okay, maybe I'm just projecting, or maybe it's just wishful thinking, but this is only fueling my new suspicion that Joan and Roger are sleeping together again. I'm mainly building on that due to the tone with which Joan speaks to Jane. Last season, when Jane came in and started flirting with Roger, Joan DID have that same superior tone she has here, but there was clearly an undercurrent of her feeling very threatened. In this scene, everything about her voice, her politeness, etc..., just, to me, screams "I know something you don't know."

I dunno if it's already happened, or if Jane just knows that she and her new hubby once had a thing, or if it's GOING to happen, but it's totally funny because you just watch that conversation and it's like "they HATE EACH OTHER"

I want this to be true. Mainly because I really, really despise Jane and want to see someone smack her down. But I also really like Roger and Joan together. Judging by the sparks still between them, if they haven't gotten back together yet, I think they will as an outlet from both their ill-suited spouses.

I think all the energy you are feeling there is their mutual HATRED. Jane stood up to Joan and basically IGNORED her firing Jane, went over Joan's head (big no no!) to keep her job, and broke up Roger's marriage. Don't forget: Joan and Roger broke up because Joan didn't want to be just a mistress any longer (afterall, she's - GASP - over 30!). There are so many reasons for Joan to hate Jane. The end of that scene -- with Jane rubbing her now-higher position as wife in Joan's face -- was ABSOLUTELY HARSHLY PRICELESS...

I really don't get from the show that Joan is seeing Roger in any way -- it's been made pretty clear she is drawing the line ever since she got engaged. Roger obviously would have taken Joan back in a heartbeat...before he was engaged to Jane that is.
